  • Billing Authorization

Payment for tuition is due at the time of sign-up. Children will not be put onto the schedule until tuition is paid. Monthly tuition is based on the number of classes available in a calendar month. Rates will vary depending on how many days are offered in any given month. Swim-in Zone does not charge for holidays when we are closed. Upon enrollment, you will be put on our recurring billing schedule and will continue to be charged by automatic debit until you log in to the parent portal and request a drop date. You will receive a confirmation from our staff within 48 hours.  All automatic debits will be charged on the 1st of every month for the current month. You may stop your lessons at any time by logging in to the parent portal and requesting a drop date. You will receive a confirmation from our staff within 48 hours. You will need to submit written notice to terminate billing before the 1st of the month in order to discontinue prior to the next billing cycle and you will be responsible for payment whether or not your student attends classes until you notify this facility in writing to drop your student from class(es).

Please note that your card will continue to be debited until we receive your notice of withdrawal. Please inform the office of any credit card changes before the 1st of each month. Please note: Swim-in Zone reserves the right to cancel/change certain class times or instructors as deemed necessary.

  • Registration Fee

All clients will be charged a non-refundable annual registration fee of $30 per student. This fee will be charged once per calendar year.

  • Absences & Make-Ups

Scheduling is family friendly with free make-up classes, and no explanations are required. Yes, free make-up classes with no explanation are required! (We only ask that you are currently enrolled to use make-ups, but no hurry because they don’t expire!)

Make-ups are only for students who are currently enrolled. They may be booked up to a week in advance. Make-up classes are a courtesy and not guaranteed. Please keep in mind that we can not reschedule booked make-up classes (no make-ups for make-ups).

    • To cancel a class, you must submit a “future absence” through the parent portal at least one hour before the start of the scheduled class time. Phone calls to report a future absence are not permitted.
    • Make-up lessons can only be booked after the scheduled absence has occurred.
  • Extended Medical Class Cancellation & Make-Up Policy

In those unfortunate occurrences where more than one day is needed for a medical cancellation, we allow extended absences.

    • Only tuition credits are offered, and no refunds for future classes.
    • A letter from a doctor or hospital explaining the student is not able to swim for a period of time is required. However, a specific diagnosis or any medical information is not necessary out of respect for your privacy.
    • In the case of prolonged absences, we require you to drop your sessions on the parent portal. When your child is ready to return it will be our pleasure to re-enroll them.
    • For the convenience of all of our clients and those waiting for a spot, we do not hold class spaces when your child is not registered.
  • Swim-in Zone Emergency Cancellations

If Swim-in Zone must cancel a class, we will issue a complimentary make-up that can be scheduled at your convenience, any time during active enrollment. In the event of inclement weather (i.e. intense snow, thunder, or a hurricane) or a problem with a pool/rental facility, we may not be able to contact you until class time. Reasons fo cancellation can include but are not limited to unpredictable factors like lighting and sanitary accidents.

  • Teacher Absences

If a substitute teacher is available, the class will be taught as scheduled and no makeup lesson will be granted.

  • Drop Procedure

Parents must electronically notify Swim-in Zone to drop a student from class. In order to drop a student from class, you must request a drop date prior to the monthly tuition charge for the coming month. (i.e. If you want to drop by June 1, you must notify us by May 31st)

Please note: You must log in to the parent portal and request a drop date prior to the monthly charge on the 1st of the month. Please do not rely on your student or caregiver to verbally let us know that he/she will no longer be attending classes, verbal drops will not be accepted. If a student stops coming to class without notification then that student's account will be charged for the additional 30 days. You are responsible for payment of your student's classes whether or not your student attends class until the time you request a drop date through the parent portal and receive confirmation.

  • What to Wear

All children under 3 years of age, or children who are not fully potty-trained must wear a Happy Nappy swim diaper underneath their swimsuit. All swimmers must be wearing a swimsuit in order to enter the water.

Please bring your own towel and see the location pages for other site-specific policies, i.e. swim cap policies.

  • Swim Diapers

All children under 3 years of age or children who are not fully potty-trained are required to wear a Happy Nappy swim diaper underneath their swimsuit.

  • Pool Location & Arrival

Upon arrival, please check in at our check-in kiosk and then head to the client waiting area.

Please be sure you and your student arrives 10 minutes before (no earlier please) their scheduled class time.

Children must be accompanied by a grown up at all times while on Swim-in Zone rental property. This is not a drop-off program.

  • Refunds

Swim-in Zone believes in superior service and customer satisfaction. If you are unable to continue in your scheduled lessons, we will gladly end your enrollment and credit your in-house account for the value of all future classes which you have already paid for. In-house credits are good for one full year and can be given to or used by another party with your permission and payment of the annual registration fee. We understand that on rare occasions a client may require a refund, and refunds may be granted for future classes at the site director's discretion. The cost of all lessons prior to the request for the refund will not be refunded and registration fees are non-refundable.

  • Level Promotions

We do not have specific class sessions, therefore classes do not end automatically, and kids will be able to learn and progress at their own pace until they move up to the next class level.  In the case that the class members seem to be progressing at the same rate, the instructor may upgrade the class to the next level, while keeping the time and day the same.  It is more likely, however, that kids will progress at different rates and move up to a new level which may be at a different time/day.  The Deck Supervisor or the Swim-in Zone Admin will notify parents/guardians in person or via e-mail when this transition needs to occur to get your child set up in the next class.

  • Safety First

Please remain at the pool for the duration of your child’s lesson in case they need to use the bathroom. Outside of their class, all children are the sole responsibility of the parent or caregiver.

Absolutely no running, fighting, shouting or horseplay is allowed before, during, or after your child’s lesson.

If your child is feeling under the weather, specifically experiencing a fever or a contagious illness, please be considerate of others by keeping your child home from lessons for a minimum of 48 hours. If they have had diarrhea within the past two weeks, please do not bring them to the pool.

Please make certain your child has removed all bandages prior to class. If your child has an open cut or another wound, he/she may not be admitted to class.

Please allow students from previous classes to get out of the pool before entering your scheduled lesson.

Your child should never enter the pool until their teacher is in the water and ready for the next class.

All clients must follow all CDC, WHO, and DoH guidelines and the policies Swim-in Zone set forth with regard to COVID-19 for the health and safety of our clients, residents, and team.

  • Class Tuition

Classes are billed as a monthly tuition according to the number of classes in the month.

    Example: 4 weeks x $28 = $112 charged on the 1st. 5 weeks of classes x $28 = $140.

Small group classes allow children to learn and practice new skills among peers. Children are grouped according to ability level.  If you need help choosing the appropriate level, click here.

Please note that by signing up through our customer portal, you will automatically be placed on our monthly auto debit system until you submit a drop date. Lessons are billed automatically on the 1st of every month.

  • Tuition Discounts

Swim-in Zone is happy to offer a 20% sibling discount off the third or more children as well as a 20% Military.  Please mention these at time of registration.

  • Private Lessons

Private lessons are tailored specifically to individual abilities and goals. Lessons are 30 min in length and $74 per lesson, billed as a monthly tuition according to the number of lessons in the month. Please check with your specific location for class availability and policies.

  • Referral Program

    How It Works

An existing family refers a new family to take lessons with us. After the new family takes 10 lessons (does not need to be consecutive), the existing family gets a $50 credit on their account.

    What We Need

The existing family will fill out a referral card that the new family will turn in.

    Terms and Conditions

    • $50 per family, not per child
    • Credit is not issued at the time of registration. It is issued once the new client has completed their 10 lessons.
    • Must be a NEW client and not just a new student.
  • Family Swim Policy

    • At least one child on the account needs to be actively enrolled in swim lessons
    • Immediate family only.
    • Parent or Guardian MUST be in the water with the swimmer (unless the child can swim full laps & must be approved my lifeguard but must be supervised)

THESE POLICIES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITHOUT NOTICE.
