Swim-in Zone has Closed for Swim Classes Starting Today Through the End of Fall Session

November 17, 2020

Hello Swim-in Zone Family,

This letter is being sent to all families enrolled in our fall session. A part time teacher reported symptoms compatible with CoVid last night and was tested today. She will quarantine for 14 days. Her only symptom was a distorted sensation of taste and otherwise feels well in every way. She has had no fever, fatigue, or achiness. There has been no change in her feeling of well-being this morning.

Also, this morning we sent another part time teacher for testing. These two teachers live together. She will also be quarantining for 14 days. Unfortunately, with the number of cases on the rise in our area, our staff may be in contact with positive cases requiring quarantining. As required by the PA Health Dept. all of our staff have been wearing masks/shields while in the pool and building.

And so, with an abundance of caution, we have decided to  cancel all classes for  the remainder of the fall session , during which time all staff will be tested. Classes will be cancelled starting today Tuesday, November 17 at 3pm, and resume classes when our winter session starts on November 30. Families may choose a family swim time, make-up, or credit on their account for the missed classes.

Our pool and building will be open with limited staff to enable lap swim, water walking and family swim time. We will be adding times to the schedule for you to book a time on-line for the family swim.

If you have questions related to your personal situation, please consult your doctor for further advice.

All of us at Swim-in Zone know that swim lessons are essential. We remain committed to our mission of providing high quality swim lessons that create happy, safe, and confident swimmers, who love the water as much as we do! Jim and I sincerely value the trust you put in us to care for and teach your children and will always try to deserve your trust in the future.

Sincerely,

Penny and Jim Pantano
